I am a writer of love poems

A writer of poetry to me means the privilege to use words to paint a masterpiece from my heart and share that experience with my readers.  Readers can choose to interpret my poetry or writing; However, my writing is original and what I write has a very meaning to me. Love poems are what I prefer to write. 

I am me. Born in Tijuana, Mexico. At age 11 the family migrates to Southern California, and we settled in the city of Huntington Beach, my adoptive hometown.  Growing up in a Latino household that was pained with the scourge of alcoholism and dysfunction has given the opportunity to see life from a peculiar perspective. I have also experienced love and understanding from many in my extended family; from all this pain, love and Joy I write from my heart. I see my writing as a painter who sees his/hers finished work as an object of curiosity  and interpretation.
